Australian English Conversation Course Online

In this 6 week course you'll learn Australian expressions, idioms, slang and popular phrases.

Learn how to understand the Australian accent.

We also discuss Australian culture, customs and etiquette.

There are a lot of things you need to know if you plan to live for any period of time in Australia. This fun course will make it easy!

Australian English Conversation Course Outline

Following is a list of what you'll learn in our lessons.

1. Basic Australian English Conversation terms. General principles and tricks to help you understand, fast!

2. Slang, colloquialisms, idioms. You’ll need to know these to understand most Australians on the phone!

3. Newspapers contain many double meanings based on Aussie history and culture. Learn to look for them!

4. Job interviews. Job hunting. Learn about those secret requests in job ads and why they’re there.

5. Social conversation and culture. Dining out. Parties and invitations.

6. General Australian dialogues in natural settings that help you to prepare for conversations with Australians.

8. And much more!

The Australian English Conversation Course is 6 lessons in length and is held on a Monday night for 6 weeks at Adult English School, Sydney.
